Yesterday was the first OM ART workshop for kids. It was a total zen experience with one hour of yoga with Kelly Lea and 2 hours of art with Christie Owen. This weeks workshop was “Make Art not Trash.” It was an environmentally conscious class using recycled materials like newspaper, junk mail and paper towel tubes to encourage waste reduction, repurposing, recycling for a cleaner environment. Ages 4 and up created junk mail vessels using paper mache and eco sculptures.
Next week, Christie Hackler will be teaching jewelry making. Sign up now space is limited.
